It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World – Required Viewing

“The dying words of a thief spark a madcap cross-country rush to find some treasure.”  Do you really need more to make you want to watch this film?  OK, how about Spencer Tracy, Milton Berle, Sid Caesar, Buddy Hackett, Ethel Mermam, Mickey Rooney, Dick Shawn, Phil Silvers, Terry-Thomas and Jonathan Winters.  Oh, you want more?  How about Edie Adams, Jim Backus, William Demarest, Selma Diamond, Peter Falk, Norman Fell, Stan Freberg, Buster Keaton, Don Knotts, Zazu Pitts, Carl Reiner and Jimmy Durante?  The film is absolutely terrific, a madcap adventure, you will find yourself laughing and cheering and being astonished that all these people are in the same film.  Do yourself a favor and watch it.

  1. L*O*V*E THIS MOVIE!!! It is absolute JOY to watch all these greatest of the greats. Most (maybe all) are no longer with us so it’s a monument to nostalgia – a fabulous forever record of a bucket-load of comedy’s best veterans – all in one place!!! With this block buster cast movie wouldn’t really matter at all, but the movie is a delight too. Win win win! Watchng this movie is pure giddy bliss!!
