I have been writing children’s books about my dog. I knew I wanted to get at least twelve written and I just received confirmation that it is published.
Reading books is important. Reading books can transport you away to another time and place.
I still think of some of the books I read as a kid. In the third grade, I belonged to a scholastic book club that would send out a book to my house. I remember the excitement of seeing it in the mailbox and knowing that I was about to go on an adventure.
I don’t expect to make much money, the price of the books is to cover printing, etc. Honestly, my true measure of success is getting banned.
