A guy wanted for murder in North Carolina was captured after being on the run for over ten years.
The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) and Robeson County Sheriff’s Office said Omar Gray, who was wanted for 18 years after being indicted for first-degree murder and conspiracy to first-degree murder, was caught in California.
Officials stated that Gray was charged by a Robeson County Grand Jury on May 15, 2007. A national search for Gray was initiated, putting him on America’s Most Wanted list and leading to an Interpol Red Notice.
The SBI reported that Gray was caught in Los Angeles, California while using the name “Timothy Bloxson” after being arrested for other charges and fingerprinted.

Authorities confirmed that a forensic analysis of the fingerprints showed that “Bloxson” is Omar Gray.
Gray was sent back to North Carolina on Tuesday and is now in jail.
