COMBINED LOCKS, Wis. – The Combined Locks Fire & Rescue recently went to Clearwater Car Wash in the Town of Buchanan after an employee had a medical emergency while working under a car.
A Facebook post from Combined Locks Public Safety says that a friend quickly called 911 for assistance. The dispatcher found that the patient had no pulse and wasn’t breathing, which led to a quick reaction from emergency medical teams from Combined Locks, Buchanan, and Kimberly.
Emergency Medical Services arrived within one minute after finishing another call nearby and found the male worker under a car in the oil change pit. The post says the patient was not stuck or hard to reach; they were just in a small area, like a basement.

EMS started emergency care right away, using a pacemaker. Fire trucks were called to help lift the patient out of a small area.
The patient was safely taken to the ambulance and brought to a nearby hospital. No additional information is available.
