The FBI is working with officers from the Department of Homeland Security and other police forces in a nationwide effort to catch illegal immigrants, as ordered by President Donald Trump, according to photos shared by Fox News Digital.
“Acting FBI Director Brian Driscoll told Fox News Digital on Thursday that he has spoken to all of our special agents who lead each of our 55 divisions.” “I know that each of them has contacted their DHS partners to offer help and support.” So we here at the FBI are leaning forward to help DHS the best that we can, to stand shoulder-to-shoulder.”
The FBI supports Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Customs and Border Protection, and other organizations by providing its large resources, like tactical teams and intelligence.
Those resources worked alongside DHS officers in New York City earlier this week, helping identify and capture dozens of “the worst of the worst” suspects, including a 25-year-old suspected Tren de Aragua gang member.
He is thought to have been part of a violent event in Colorado before cops found him on Monday in a Bronx apartment near a school.
They are spread all over the country.
In El Paso, Texas, the FBI, Homeland Security Investigations, ICE and agents from its Enforcement Removal Operations wing were seen on the ground as part of a mission that led to the capture of a suspect accused of having a stash house for human smugglers.
Driscoll said that the best way to keep Americans safe from threats like ISIS and groups like Tren de Aragua is to work together. He emphasized the importance of teaming up with the Department of Homeland Security and all U.S. intelligence and law enforcement agencies across the country.
In a number of focused operations in Chicago, the FBI offered intelligence, SWAT team support, and legal experts to help apprehend illegal immigrants believed to have criminal connections.

In New York, they offered “advanced tactical support” and helped set up a crisis management coordination center covering the whole city.
“We are ready to support the DHS as much as we can here at the FBI,” Driscoll said.
In the past week, ICE has reported that they have captured about 5,500 people accused of being illegal immigrants involved in crime.
