Early Monday morning, deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office detained a 32-year-old man named Jose Vasquez.
He is accused of setting fire to a grocery store in Fillmore. At approximately 12:30 a.m. on January 29, a fire broke out at Super A Foods.

When the firefighters arrived at the scene, they were able to put out the fires promptly, which prevented any additional damage to the home.
