A man in Florida was arrested after taking police on a wild chase on January 27 while dressed in a Dalmatian onesie, police said.
Dylan Keith Devereaux, 36, faces several charges including fleeing from police, escaping, reckless driving, leaving the scene after causing damage, and hurting a police officer. He is also charged with threatening a police officer, resisting an officer both with and without violence, preventing a police officer from using their equipment, having drug paraphernalia, possessing a new drug, possessing methamphetamine, and stealing something small, according to court records.
Just after 12 a.m., Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) troopers tried to pull Devereaux over for driving recklessly, at a high rate of speed.
Devereaux crashed into a tree during a chase and then ran away, as stated in a police report. He was hit with a stun gun and fell to the ground.
While police were handcuffing him, a struggle broke out, and Devereaux was shocked with the stun gun again, as stated in the report.
Devereaux fled again and ran into the woods while still wearing one handcuff, according to the troopers.

More cops came to the scene, and a 3-year-old police dog followed a trail that led to Devereaux’s home nearby, as reported by FHP.
The suspect’s girlfriend told troopers she did not want them near her home since she had drugs inside and did not want to go to jail, according to the report.
Police reportedly found drugs in the couple’s home and arrested them.
