Massachusetts schools began reporting closures on Wednesday because a winter storm is coming on Thursday, bringing snow, ice, and rain.
Boston is a city in the United States. 25 weather experts have issued a WEATHER ALERT, and the National Weather Service has put a winter weather warning in place for most of Massachusetts.
Roads are likely to get snowy and cold, making it hard to drive for most of the day.

Snow is expected to start between 8 and 10 a.m. and will continue into the afternoon, changing to ice later. Some places will experience a mix of rain and freezing drizzle, which will stop between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Some areas of the state might get as much as 5 inches of snow.
As of Wednesday afternoon, almost 20 closures have been reported, and more are likely to be added later in the evening.
