Oklahoma got a day-long snowstorm that dumped inches of snow everywhere it went.
There was the most snow in Oklahoma in the southeast, which was also where it rained the most. However, snow fell in most of the state, with reports of snow from Enid to Hochatown.
People in the Oklahoma City metro area say they have about 5 inches of snow. At 9 p.m., Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City had 4.3 inches of snow, and Seminole County had over 5 inches.
Thursday will be the last day of snow in 2025.
On Friday, high temperatures will likely be in the low to mid-30s. In southwest Oklahoma, some places will get close to 40 degrees. It will be below 20 degrees in many parts of the area tonight, which means there is a chance of freezing fog.
All of the snow and icy mix should have left the state by Friday noon. The National Weather Service says that the snowpack will keep temps below or close to freezing until at least Saturday.
The National Weather Service has received reports of some of Oklahoma’s heaviest snowfalls. This story will be changed as new reports come in until Friday morning.
