Both citizens having a VA Disability payment and those with an accepted SSDI check will be able to take advantage of their monthly benefit in April 2025.
Both categories of recipients will receive checks from the US government through their respective offices; all we need to know is the calendar to determine when we may take advantage of the benefit in April.
Therefore, we only need to determine which retiree group we fall into if we keep in mind that Social Security Disability Insurance, or SSDI, benefits arrive on one of four different days in the retirement calendar.
A little different is the VA Disability Turkey, which is distributed to all beneficiaries once a month.
Payments from SSDI in April 2025
We only need to consult the official Social Security payment schedule if we wish to put the date of our 2025 SSDI payment on our calendar.
Although we can only receive one of these payments per month, there are four distinct payment days.
Therefore, the following days will see the arrival of SSDI checks:

| April 9 | Group 2.This group includes those who become pensioners after May 1997. Additionally, your birthday must fall between the first and tenth of any given month. |

| April 23 | Group 4. This group includes retirees who were born after May 1997. Additionally, your birthday must occur between the 21st and the 31st of any given month. |
It should be noted that if you receive an old-age retirement payment but not an SSDI payment, you can still receive this benefit because all such payments are made to the various organizations on the same days.
In April 2025, VA Disability Benefits
As is customary, VA Disability claimants receive their check on the first of the subsequent month following these SSDI retirement payments. As a result, on May 1st, 2025, this benefit will be paid.
These citizens have just gotten their monthly benefit, though, as the payment for March of last year was paid on April 1st.
Normally, the payment is issued on the first day following the end of the current month; however, if that day falls on a holiday or weekend, it is sent on the working day that comes before it.
Since VA Disability payments are due on the first and thirty days of May, this anomaly is evident during that month.
