A 13-year-old Boy in Alabama Leads Police on a High-speed Chase

Alabama — In Alabama early Friday morning, February 14, 2025, police were called to a strange situation: a car driven by a teen ran away from a traffic stop.

Around 2 a.m., a Hartselle Police Department officer tried to pull over a car, but the driver sped off instead of stopping. Later, deputies found the car on Vaughn Bridge Road. They tried to stop it again with lights and sirens, but the driver refused to cooperate, so the car kept escaping the police.

When the car went into a field on Taylor Road near Iron Man Road, the chase was over. Two thirteen-year-olds were found inside the car by deputies. Both were taken into custody and sent to Juvenile Probation to be dealt with further.

There are still no details from the authorities about how the teens got the car or what charges they may face. The event is still being looked into.
