Caught on Camera: Amazon Delivery Driver Runs Over Woman in Terrifying Hit-and-Run

The horrifying moment a 29-year-old woman was ran over by an Amazon delivery van before the driver fled and left her lifeless on the street was captured on disturbing security camera footage.

The woman was allegedly struck by the Amazon employee in a Baltimore, Maryland, suburb on Tuesday just before 9:30 p.m.

When they got the green light, the dark blue Amazon van that had stopped at the red street light moved forward, and the woman was crossing the street at the intersection of E. Pratt and S. Chester Street.

The pedestrian was heard yelling as the car’s front wheels slowly plowed over her body before dragging her for a few more feet.

The woman was heard sobbing on the chilly roadway beneath the car as the driver momentarily halted, but after a brief pause, the car accelerated and rolled over her corpse once more.

Josh Webster, a local, said, “He had to know that there, you know, something was obviously wrong, especially driving a truck around all day. You could differentiate, you know, between a pothole and a person. I’m pretty sure.”

As the injured woman repeatedly yelled for “help,” the Amazon employee eventually got out of the truck.

The driver walked back to their van and drove away after interacting with the woman for around 30 seconds.

When good samaritans arrived on the scene, they hurried over to the victim who had been left behind.

When someone said, “I got a picture,” they were probably referring to obtaining a picture of the Amazon van or driver.

The victim is expected to live after being transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Austin Stowe, an Amazon representative, told Fox 5 News that the driver has since been temporarily removed from his delivery responsibilities in the midst of a police investigation.

“The driver in question has been suspended from delivering on our behalf and we’re working with his employer and law enforcement as they investigate,” the statement said after learning of the horrific occurrence today.

“They should definitely be held accountable,” Webster continued. “I just pray that that woman’s okay”
