David Spade is determined to catch the people who are setting fires in Los Angeles while the deaths keep happening.

The 60-year-old former “Saturday Night Live” star posted a video on his Instagram Stories over the weekend in which he offered a prize for information leading to the arrest of any arsonists in the area.

“I’m in California, and people say that guys are setting fires out there.” “Make this crap worse,” Spade said as he sat in his car.

“They just caught someone walking along with a blowtorch who we think was setting fires.” “They let him go,” he said.

Spade then told his fans, “I’ll give you $5,000 if you can find someone setting a fire, catch them, and work with the police to put them in jail.” Keep your eyes open. “Do what you can out there.”

“But don’t fake it,” he said. “No setting up. Tell me.

In LA, there have been several cases of burning while the county is still being destroyed by wildfires.

People in Woodland Hills, near the Kenneth fire, grabbed and zip-tied a homeless man on Friday night. The man was thought to be trying to start fires with a blowtorch.

The suspect was caught and is being held by the LAPD on a felony probation violation charge. He was recognized as Juan Manuel Sierra-Leyva, a Mexican citizen who was in the country illegally. Investigators are still looking into whether it was set on purpose, but LAPD Assistant Chief Dominic Choi said on Friday that there wasn’t enough proof for that charge right now.

Fire officials reported on Sunday that the Kenneth fire, which had been burning for more than 1,000 acres, is now out of control.

The reasons of all the fires are being looked into. The Palisades fire, which has killed eight people and burned over 23,000 acres, may have started from sparks left over from a previous fire that was likely caused by fireworks on New Year’s Eve, according to the Washington Post.

But some famous people think that arsonists are to blame for the terrible situation in Southern California.

He wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Jan. 8, the day after the Palisades fire began, “THERE IS AN ARSONIST here in LA.”

Winkler added, “May you be beaten so badly that you’re unrecognizable!!!” How much pain you’ve caused!!!”

Claims that the fires were started by arson were also made by actress Alison Sweeney, singer Chris Brown, “Dancing with the Stars” dancer Peta Murgatroyd, and TV personality Elizabeth Chambers.

As of Monday morning, at least 24 people had died in the wildfires, and nearly 180,000 people had to leave their houses.

Currently, 14% of the Palisades fire and 27% of the Eaton fire are controlled. These are by far the two biggest fires.
