Firefighters from Sacramento are back home after fighting a wildfire in Los Angeles

Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District reported that their regional OES Type One and Type Three have made it home after battling the wildfire in Los Angeles.

Officials said the team worked with many departments from around the state to help keep people and property safe. Firefighters sent to Los Angeles have come back home and shared stories about the amazing support they got while they were there.

Sacramento Metro Fire stated that the support they received, like meals and donations, told them they were not just fighting fires but also protecting families throughout California.
