According to accounts and authorities, a Jeep plowed over the head and body of a Florida guy who was happily sunbathing on the beach, leaving him “screaming bloody murder” in the sand.
According to the Volusia Sheriff’s Office, Coleson Janey, 33, miraculously survived being rolled over on Ormond Beach on Saturday morning when the beachgoer was enjoying the sun.
The incident is said to have occurred when a 61-year-old woman was trying to park her Wrangler.
According to WESH, the Ocala guy was in excruciating pain after the harrowing experience and had to have emergency surgery.
From his hospital bed on Monday, Janey told the publication, “I guess I had maybe fallen asleep for a little bit and then I woke up to a tire coming over my head.”
“I was just screaming. Screaming my head off, screaming blood murder, of course, because I was just in so much pain.”
According to the sheriff, the Jeep driver was trying to back into a parking space when she swerved off the driving lanes onto the beach and ran over Janey, who was resting on a towel.
After being smashed by the nearly 4,100-pound car, Janey remembered having “two brains”—one that was screaming in agony and the other that was logically considering the harm his body had suffered.

Janey then turned to see that his leg was “mangled” and his forearm was “flattened.”
“Now I have a forearm that’s broken in two places,” he stated.
“Both bones in the forearm, clean break. And then my femur, which was broken, that they just had to put a titanium rod in yesterday.”
Additionally, he sustained facial and torso bruises.
Deputies stated that there were no indications of impairment and that the Jeep driver, who remained at the site and assisted investigators, had subsequently been penalized for reckless driving.
The inquiry into the near-fatal accident is still in progress.
Janey, on the other hand, is grateful for another day and eager to fully recuperate.
“I’m just thankful to be alive,” he stated.
“And able to walk again at some point.”
