Florida Elementary School Principal Arrested for Alcohol Party with 100 Kids at Her Residence

According to the authorities, a principal of an elementary school in Florida was detained after she hosted a party that had alcohol and where 100 children were found.

On January 19, Elizabeth Hill-Brodigan, who is 47 years old and the principal of Roosevelt Elementary School in Cocoa Beach, was detained after the police were summoned to respond to an allegation of a home party.

When the officials came, they discovered that over 100 children were wearing “matching t-shirts.” A lot of them were drinking alcohol that was kept in coolers inside the house.

On the principal’s lawn, one child was experiencing a “medical event related to alcohol.” According to the authorities, the child was “so heavily intoxicated” that the Brevard County Fire Rescue had to be called to provide medical assistance.

Officesaw Hill-Brodigan turned off the exterior lights in her driveway before stepping into her house.

According to the police, this meant that the fire rescue crew had to utilize the auxiliary lights on their vehicle while they were treating the child who was having a medical episode.

Authorities reported that another child was apprehended for driving under the influence near the principal’s house.

According to the police, Karly Anderson, a teacher at Roosevelt Elementary, approached the cops at the site.

She told them that she was a teacher and that she had been at the party, and she appeared to be intoxicated.

Hill-Brodigan and Anderson were both taken into custody. Each of them has been charged with one felony count of child maltreatment and one misdemeanor count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Hill-Brodgian is also charged with one misdemeanor count for hosting an open home party.

According to a statement made by Brevard Public Schools, both women had been put on administrative leave.
