Posters for a Ku Klux Klan meeting have been found in Laurel County and two towns in northern Kentucky. They are promoting a “Tri-State Konklave” event on February 15 at Klan Grounds in northern Indiana. Pikeville civil rights and defense attorney Ned Pillersdorf said he thinks he knows why dozens of people told him about the fliers.
“I believe this all began around 10 years ago.” There was actually a Nazi march in Pikeville. I helped gather support against these foolish people, and I faced some opposition. I took some shots at the Nazi March. Just so you know, the Nazi march happened a week or two before the events in Charlottesville.

Pillersdorf was talking about the deadly “Unite the Right” march in Charlottesville in 2017, where people were shouting, “Jews will not replace us.”
“When I shared pictures from the Nazi march, I found out that one of the people in the photos was the father of a criminal I was defending in Pike County. He kept calling me and reminded me that I was Jewish, threatening to hurt me if I didn’t remove the picture.”
The handouts require people who want to attend to send a dollar to the national office of the Trinity White Knights in Maysville to receive an information packet and application. WEKU called the national office number listed on the flyer. A man’s voicemail goes over a money offer and encourages followers to help fight against illegal immigration, homosexuality, and other bad things. It ends by wishing the caller a great White day and saying, “White power.”
