Fox News embedded closely with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Boston as the agency targeted egregious criminal aliens, including MS-13 gang members and murder suspects, as part of mass deportation efforts under President Donald Trump.
Fox News watched ICE Boston make eight arrests, including multiple MS-13, Interpol Red Notices, murder and rape suspects, and a volatile Haitian gang member with 18 convictions in recent years who told our cameras that he “ain’t going back to Haiti” and “f— Trump, Biden forever!”
“Today was a nice day.” “Today, we removed several serious public safety threats from our communities,” said Patricia Hyde, Acting Field Office Director of ERO Boston, in an interview with Fox News. “Unfortunately, many were released because of sanctuary policies.” We want the Commonwealth and the whole country to know that we will find them, whether they are out in the open or not.
ICE made a “collateral” arrest by detaining an illegal immigrant who wasn’t the main target of their operation.
In that situation, the undocumented immigrant was with a member of the MS-13 gang who had been let go by a place that protects immigrants on Tuesday, even though there was a request from ICE to keep him in custody.
Trump’s border chief, Tom Homan, has warned that people could be arrested as a side effect in areas that protect immigrants.
While ICE Boston was arresting a dangerous undocumented immigrant in a neighborhood, Fox News recorded a woman shouting “thank you” to the agents.
The arrests happen as the Trump administration quickly works to start a major removal effort. This effort will mainly focus on people considered a danger to public safety, but not only those individuals.

In the early days of Trump’s presidency, ICE arrested over 460 undocumented immigrants, many of whom had criminal records involving sexual attack, domestic violence, and drug or weapon offenses. People were arrested in several U.S. states, including Illinois, Utah, California, Minnesota, New York, Florida, and Maryland.
Officers arrested people from several countries, including Afghanistan, Angola, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Senegal, and Venezuela.
