Tri-State Braces for Potential Widespread Snowfall Sunday Night

It might snow a few flurries or light rain Thursday night, but that system doesn’t look like it will be very interesting.

The slightly more exciting chance of snow is on Sunday and Monday when it could snow all over the tri-state area.

The prediction is still very rough, but it looks like the coast will get the most snow. The Jersey Shore, Long Island, and some parts of the Connecticut shoreline will get between 1 and 3 inches. Most of the land in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut will get less than an inch of rain.

The weather will get warmer over the weekend, but it will be very cold again on Monday.

Our high will have a hard time getting to that level by Tuesday. Even without the wind chill, it will feel like it’s in the single digits for most of the day.
