A woman is set to be freed from a Florida facility following a harrowing encounter with a shark in the Bahamas.

In early February, Rileigh Decker and a friend were enjoying a swim in Bimini Bay when they were suddenly attacked by a shark.

Decker is set to leave a Florida facility after receiving care, with discharge scheduled for Friday.

“We were making our way to the ladder.” I sensed a gentle push against my leg. From her hospital bed, Decker expressed her disbelief, saying, “I looked at her and thought, what was that?” “We continued to swim.” Suddenly, I sensed a pull on my leg. In that moment, I realized I was somewhat different.
