Wisconsin Man Killed in Head-On Crash in Oneida County; Another Injured

WOODBORO, Wis. – A 58-year-old guy from Wisconsin died in a head-on collision between two cars near Rhinelander on Tuesday morning.

A news statement from the Wisconsin State Patrol North Central Region says that at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, troopers were called to Spring Creek Road and U.S. 8 eastbound/westbound for a head-on crash between two vehicles.

At first, it looked like a westbound GMC pickup truck crossed the center line and hit an eastbound Toyota car. Daniel Reiter, 58, of Tomahawk, was driving the Toyota and was the only person inside. He died from his injuries.

The GMC driver, 51-year-old Abbotsford resident Kristin Henrickson, was only slightly hurt. At this point, no charges have been brought. The probe is still going on, though.
