Woman Wanted to Kill Her Police Officer Ex-boyfriend and His Daughter by Her Tinder Hooking Up

Following the discovery of an alleged murder-for-hire plot against her ex-boyfriend and his daughter, a woman from New Jersey was charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder.

According to a press release issued by the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office on Tuesday, 26-year-old Jaclyn Diiorio was taken into custody after police discovered that she had allegedly paid an informant money to have her ex-boyfriend, a 53-year-old Philadelphia Police Department officer, and his 19-year-old daughter killed.

A probable cause affidavit, Diiorio planned to have a man she met on the Tinder dating app perform the act.

The filings state that on March 31, Diiorio met the informant on Tinder at a Runnemede, New Jersey, Wawa convenience store.

Over the following few days, the two spoke with each other via phone conversations and text messages.

According to the records, Diiorio allegedly expressed her want for her ex-boyfriend’s death to the informant at one time.

The alleged conspiracy to kill the Philadelphia police officer and Diiorio’s alleged $12,000 price for the double murder were brought to the attention of the office’s serious crimes team on April 3, according to the prosecution.

According to the probable cause document, investigators informed the accused target about the scheme on April 4.

He informed detectives that he and Diiorio broke up on March 6 after meeting when she worked as his barber.

Prior to dropping it, Diiorio had applied for a temporary restraining order against the Philadelphia police officer.

According to reports, Diiorio intended to give the informant $500 as a down payment for the killings when they met at a Dollar General in Glendora, New Jersey.

After the payment was received, Diiorio was taken into arrest by Gloucester Township police who were on the site.

She was also allegedly discovered in possession of alprazolam, which is frequently prescribed for anxiety and panic attacks, in a bottle with the label removed.

Diiorio was charged with one crime of possession of a controlled hazardous substance, two charges of first-degree attempted murder, and one count of first-degree conspiracy to commit murder.

Remanding her into jail until her court hearing on April 9 was mandated.
